The latest in a string of acclaimed Slow Meadow (Matt Kidd) reworks, “Dans le noir” originally appeared on Eric Christian’s brilliant debut album for solo piano and here is transformed by Kidd into an evocative soundscape, adding strings, synths, and soft beats, all while remaining faithful to Christian’s beautiful melody.
